2024 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI), Denver, Colorado, USA.

The 31st annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) is scheduled to take place from March 3 to March 6, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, USA.

CROI, established in 1993, provides a forum for basic scientists and clinical investigators to present, discuss, and critique their investigations into the epidemiology and biology of human retroviruses and associated diseases. The synergy of basic science and clinical investigation has significantly contributed to the success of the meeting. CROI has facilitated the presentation of important discoveries in the field, thereby accelerating progress in HIV and AIDS research. The best and most consequential original research defines the science at CROI, including studies related to HIV, hepatitis viruses, SARS-CoV-2, Mpox, and other viral infections and their associated conditions.

Additionally, four members from the AMS-PHPT Research Collaboration participated in this conference: Dr. Tim Cressey, Dr. Gonzague Jourdain, Dr. Nicolas Salvodori, and Mrs. Pra-ornsuda Sukrakanchana.

Furthermore, five abstracts from the AMS-PHPT Research Collaboration have been accepted for presentation as posters at CROI 2024.
